SEPTEMBER DISPATCHES
There's plenty happening behind the scenes at Stanley Biggs this September, from Arnhem to preparations for our next outing.
So, a slightly different Biggs update for you. A few stories to follow, some order updates, and a look at where we're heading next.
REMEMBERING ARNHEM
17th September marked the beginning of the Battle of Arnhem, fought from 17th to 26th September 1944.
We aren't able to join the commemorations in the Netherlands in person this year, so over on Geek of History we're revisiting our Arnhem diary from last year's anniversary.
Each day of the battle, we'll be sharing another chapter from the places where the story unfolded, from the landing zones and Oosterbeek to Arnhem itself.
There is also some new Airborne-related content on the way, so if military history is your thing, make sure you're subscribed.
THE SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE
On Sunday 4th October, we'll be heading to the Bicester Motion Sunday Scramble.
And we're bringing both of the Jeeps that crossed the Sahara and Anti-Atlas Mountains earlier this year.
Between them, they covered more than 1,000 miles through Morocco and the Western Sahara as part of The Raid. For the Scramble, they'll be joining us alongside the Stanley Biggs trade stand.
We'll also be putting together our own selection of clothing and equipment for adventurers and explorers, featuring some of the pieces we'd choose when heading out ourselves.
If you're attending the Scramble, come and find us.
From The Stockroom
A quick update for those waiting on orders.
The Stanley
The first Stanley jumpers have now been packed and sent, with the remaining pieces from the first batch available online.
The Arthur & Henshaw
Both are expected to arrive with us next week. Pre-orders remain open ahead of their arrival.

AND THAT'S SEPTEMBER, SO FAR...
There is plenty more taking shape for autumn, including new stories, new adventures and a few things we're not quite ready to reveal yet.
For now, follow along with Arnhem over on Geek of History, and we'll see some of you at the Scramble in October.
